赵冰，男，1972年3月出生，长沙理工大学副教授。主要从事固体破坏的理论与数值描述、工程材料强度的尺寸效应的研究工作。担任湖南省力学学会理事。发表论文30余篇。提出修正的梯度弹性理论(Modified Gradient Elasticity)和一阶梯度损伤理论（First-order gradient damage theory）。
