Abstract: A review on the experimental studies of dynamical behavior of nonlinear oscillating systems in recent years is given. The emphasis is laid on mechanical model experiments. Analysis methods for dealing with experimenta-ldata are discussed in detail. Finally, some suggestions arc given to the future studies on nonlinear vibration experiments.
